What defines a quorum (minimum number present) for the purposes of voting for a secretary?

5 people, unless it’s an emergency, in which case 3. Passed

Approve the format for the new Newcomer Meeting

with the addition of a sobriety count up as part of milestones – Show of hands: 24 hours, less than 30 days, 30 days, 60-89 days, 90-179 days, six months, nine months, one year 2-4 years, 5-9 years, 10-14 years, 15-20 years, 20-24 years, 25-29 years, 30-34 years, 35-39 years, 40-44 years, 45-49 years, 50 or more? Passed/Approved

Intergroup Rep

• Announce at all the meetings as an open commitment: An Intergroup Representative represents the group, passing on questions and concerns to the next level of decision making and bringing questions and decisions back to the group. It is a once a month commitment. The next meeting will be September 21st at 11am Pacific; all are welcome to go check it out to see what it’s about.
• John R will announce this next week except possibly Friday
• Natara will announce on Mondays
• Revis will announce Wednesday through Friday the following week

What do we do about secretaries who don’t step down but don’t show up?

Any secretary or co-secretary who does not show up nor get themselves replaced for 3 weeks in a row will have abdicated their position and the Group will find another secretary or co-secretary Passed

Finding a new Secretary or Co-Secretaries for the Newcomer meeting

We will announce it for a week and reach out to people who we think would be great candidates Passed
We are reaching out to people to cover Tuesday if necessary until then; worst case scenario, John R will cover this week

Next all-group Business Meeting will be December 7 at 1:30pm
